In this year’s TRA, we had the chance to present both a poster and a paper on the overall content and aim of the FP1-MOTIONAL, key project on Capacity Management, Traffic Management and Mobility Management. They were jointly prepared by Marco Ferreira, Magnus Walborg, Lars Deiterding and Anders Johnson, and presented by Marco in a session.

During this time, also our workstream (1.2) Leader Rolf Goossmann explained the important developments advanced by the project during a panel discussion on Traffic Management; and the MOTIONAL Coordinator Lars Deiterding discussed with colleagues from SESAR why the developments from MOTIONAL will play an important role for an improved multimodal integration and increased attractiveness of the combined rail/air journeys.
