DAC DAY - powered by Knorr-Bremse und PROSE - an industry initiative
Digital automatic coupler (DAC) is a key element for sustainable rail freight transport that is coordinated across European borders.
Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems Schweiz AG and PROSE AG are initiating the ‘DAC DAY’ on 27 June 2024 as a call from the industry for the Swiss railway industry.
The European railway flagship project 5 (FP5) TRANS4M-R is the central vehicle for the participation of all stakeholders in Europe to define technical and operational issues. Participation in European and national working groups is being promoted and discussed in order to provide resource-optimised and targeted support for the transformation of rail freight transport in Switzerland and Europe.
